ASIMO, the Robot created by Honda
Asimo Robot
Created by Honda Motor Co. Engineers, Asimo is the world's most technologically advanced robot. Dreams become reality with Asimo who can walk, talk, climb stairs and run. The robot is about 4 feet in height and resembles a NASA astronaut. Asimo was designed with the purpose of helping people in the future who's mobillity has been challenged. Presently on a World Tour, Asimo was recently inducted into the Robot Hall of Fame.
Museum of Civilization
Asimo made a public appearance at the Museum of Civilization in Quebec, Canada for Japan's Innovation presentation. The crowd marvelled as Asimo moved about the stage performing various movements ranging from dancing to climbing stairs. A host representing Honda Motors Co. educated the audience on the developement of Asimo and the role Asimo will play in the future.
